Ladies Who Launch Fundraiser

EASE began in 1990 as a young women’s housing service in order to address the issue of a lack of safe and secure accommodation for homeless young women.

Over the past 20 years the work of EASE has broadened to assisting women and children escaping domestic violence, supporting young women who are pregnant or have children and are homeless, supporting women with drug and alcohol issues and the provision of recovery programs for women and children.

We work towards our vision, that “Together we can end violence, bullying and abuse” through the delivery of violence prevention programs for children and young people, their parents and the wider community and research, professional development and facilitator training programs. Further, the delivery of men’s behaviour change programs across the region aims to enhance the safety of women and children experiencing family violence.
